Job Description
To support the pragmatic and effective deployment of Artificial Intelligence within its Finance and Insurance functions, the Group is establishing a dedicated AI Business Team, jointly sponsored by the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the Chief Insurance Officer (CInSO).
This team operates alongside — but independently from — central IT and AI functions. Its mandate is to enable and accelerate the use of AI within Finance and Insurance, ensuring that identified use cases translate into operational solutions that are effectively adopted and generate measurable benefits.
As AI Business Transformation Manager, you will contribute directly to this initiative by working closely with Finance, Insurance, Risk and Actuarial teams to identify, structure and support the deployment of AI‑enabled solutions addressing concrete business needs.
This role is not focused on defining enterprise‑wide AI governance, nor on building technical platforms. Instead, it is a business transformation role, centred on execution, coordination and value realisation within Finance and Insurance, in alignment with the standards, infrastructures and constraints defined by central IT and AI teams.
Reporting jointly to the CFO and the CInSO, you will act as a business enabler and delivery partner, ensuring that AI initiatives progress from identified opportunities to sustainable, embedded solutions that effectively support business performance and decision‑making.
Responsibilities
Use Case Identification & Prioritisation
Work in close collaboration with Finance, Insurance, Risk and Actuarial teams to identify AI use cases grounded in concrete operational or analytical needs.
Analyse processes and business challenges to assess where AI can deliver meaningful improvements in efficiency, quality, risk management or insight.
Structure and document use cases, including expected benefits, implementation considerations and dependencies.
Contribute to the definition and maintenance of a prioritised portfolio of initiatives, in coordination with CFO, CInSO and functional leadership.
Implementation Support & Delivery
Support business teams throughout the lifecycle of AI initiatives, from initial scoping to operational deployment.
Act as the primary business counterpart for each initiative, coordinating with central IT and AI teams for technical development and integration.
Ensure that proof‑of‑concepts and pilots evolve into production‑ready solutions where relevant.
Monitor progress, address obstacles pragmatically and support teams in resolving process, data or organisational challenges.
Adoption & Change Enablement
Support change management efforts to facilitate the effective adoption of AI solutions within teams.
Contribute to training, communication and the integration of AI tools into daily workflows.
Monitor adoption and usage, identify adoption risks and propose corrective actions where needed.
Encourage the sharing of experiences and best practices across Finance and Insurance functions.
Interface with Central AI & IT Functions
Act as a structured interface between Finance / Insurance teams and central AI, Data and IT functions.
Ensure that all initiatives comply with Group standards related to governance, security, regulatory requirements and ethical principles.
Provide feedback to central teams on business needs, implementation constraints and opportunities for improvement in frameworks or tooling.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Define and monitor appropriate KPIs to assess progress and impact of AI initiatives.
Prepare concise updates and summaries for CFO and CInSO, supporting informed prioritisation and steering decisions.
Escalate material risks or dependencies in a timely manner, with proposed mitigation options.
Preferred Experience
Education: Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Finance, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Economics, Applied Mathematics or similar).
Experience: Several years of professional experience, including exposure to Finance, Insurance, Risk or Actuarial topics. Experience in transformation, consulting or internal change initiatives is an advantage.
AI & Analytics Literacy: Good understanding of AI‑enabled use cases in a business context, including automation, document intelligence, predictive analytics or decision support, sufficient to assess feasibility and value.
Business & Technical Interface: Ability to work with both business teams and technical experts, translating needs and constraints between the two.
Tools: Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with reporting or visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus. Exposure to AI productivity tools in a professional context is appreciated.
Who You Are
You have experience in business transformation, operational improvement or analytical initiatives, ideally within Finance, Insurance or Risk environments.
You are comfortable engaging with Finance professionals, Actuaries, Underwriters and Risk teams, and can interact credibly with subject‑matter experts.
You combine a structured approach with pragmatism and are focused on delivery and tangible outcomes.
You are able to operate effectively in a matrixed, international organisation and to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
You communicate clearly and appropriately, adapting your style to operational teams as well as senior management.
You are fluent in English; French is a strong asset.
