Job Description
Group Head of Capital Management is responsible to steer and secure the capital position of the insurance and service entities of the Europ Assistance Group and to optimize the dividend/remittance trajectory towards the shareholder. In addition, the role oversees the preparation and submission of all the required regulatory reporting to the various regulators. Finally, the role is responsible to implement corporate simplification actions and intragroup transactions. You'll lead a team of 3 persons to achieve your goals.
Responsibilities:
1) Capital management
- Lead and oversee the preparation and the implementation of Capital Management Plans of Europ Assistance entities under different capital regimes (e.g. Solvency 2 in Europe; RBC in the US; Australian regime…);
- Lead and oversee the analysis and the implementation of capital actions aimed at optimizing capital allocation within EA Group.
- Lead the preparation of the Capital Deep Dive towards GHO and its continuous alignment on the implementation of the follow-ups.
- Lead and approve the capital application process aimed at strengthening capital in the local entities of the EA Group.
- Contribute to M&A projects from a capital perspective.
2) Solvency 2 reporting
- Oversee the preparation of the Market Value Balance sheet and Eligible Own Funds of Europ Assistance entities for Quarterly and Annual Solvency II process.
- Oversee the preparation of in the preparation of narrative reports (SFCR, RSR), the support for ORSA, and Quarterly and annual QRTs.
- Oversee the preparation of the sensitivity calculation process and analysis of the Economic movement of Eligible Own Funds.
3) Intragroup transactions
- Propose and lead the analysis of the intragroup transactions (only acquisition or disposal of shares/assets) aimed at simplifying the corporate structure of EA Group
- Lead the internal governance process aimed at approving the transaction based on IGT policy
- Engage and manage external financial advisor involved in the valuation of shares
Preferred Experience
Actuary Master degree from a TOP School + Perfect command of English (in written & in spoken). An experience abroad is a plus.
15 years' experience in a similar position in an international organization, preferably in the insurance industry and/or in a consulting firm.
